What is this all
about?
Basically, the focus behind this website is to
help send our kids to college. Here is the math
1,000,000 pixels at a rate of a measly quarter a
piece, equals $250,000 to send our kids to
college. Private College tuitions are steadily
increasing on an average of 6% a year, and
public schools are worse, last year alone public
school tuition for 2005.
Who are you?
Our names are Josh and Jeremy. We
live in Michigan just outside of the Detroit
Metro Area. Have you heard of the starving
artists? Well we are the starving entrepreneurs!
Yeah we are getting by, but with our 5 kids
combined, we will use the proceeds from

give our children the education they need so
they don’t follow in our footsteps as starving
adults.
Why do you need 1 Million Quarters?
Its too late for us to go back to school to
further our education so we are doing what we do
best, using our entrepreneurial skills for our
children. Some may call this mooching, but we
call it, looking out for our children’s future.
A Four-year private school tuition averages
$20,082 per year, up 6 percent from last year
and a Four-year public school tuition averages
$5,132, up 10.5 percent from last year.
What will you do
with the money?
A portion of the money will be used to make sure
the site is up and running for 10 years, the
remaining portion will be used to pave the way
for our kids to further their education so they
don’t have to build websites like this for their
kids and our grandchildren. The proceeds of this
website will be placed into a tax free 529
account that will be safely tucked away for the
next several years.
Why should I buy
your pixels?
The pixels you buy will be displayed on the
homepage permanently. The homepage will not
change. Using some of the money we make from the
site, I guarantee to keep it online for at least
10 years, but hopefully much longer. I believe
the pixels will offer good value. You too can
have a piece of internet history!
When you buy our
pixels you are not only making your mark in
internet history, you are supporting 5 kids
college funds. When you buy some pixels, you
can then display an image/ad/logo of your choice
in the space you have purchased. You can also
have the image click through to your own
website. However, no obscene or offensive images
are allowed.
Why can’t I
buy 1 pixel?
You will see the homepage is divided into 10,000
of these blocks. The reason for selling them in
these blocks is because anything smaller than
10x10 pixels would be too small to display
anything meaningful.
(However, if you want to own less than 100
pixels - eg. one pixel - you could always club
together with family/friends/colleagues and buy
a single 10x10 block.)
Aren't
you just a knockoff?
Yes and no. Have you ever seen a woman with one
of those Louis Vuitton bags, and then you get up
close and realize the letters all over it are LW
instead of LV? That's a knockoff. It's cheaper
than the original, for sure, but it doesn't
offer the craftsmanship and quality that a bag
covered in LV's does. But we do. Even though our
pixels cost 75% less than our competitors, we're
offering MORE for less. Unlike those who run
other pixel sites, we've got years of experience
in Internet marketing, ideas for publicity
coming out of our ears, and we're already
racking up ridiculous amounts of
traffic.
Bottom
line: We're not pretending to be somebody else's
website. We've got our own thing going here.
Sure, we stole the whole pixel idea, but we made
it better.
How long will the site be
online?
The site and
webpage will be online for at least 10 years
(starting from the day it launched), so at least
until 26th September 2015, but possibly even
longer.
You can buy as many pixels as you
like, as long as there are some available (see
the live stats in the top right corner of the
page). When you buy some pixels, you can then
display an image/ad/logo of your choice in the
space you have purchased. You can also have the
